Jacob, [info]evolutionofjake suggested that I should post that picture up in my last entry from the Yankee parade to Deadspin. So I did... and it got posted! He said that they get a lot of submissions so they don't put up everyone's stories. This morning, he let me know that it got posted up...and I got so excited, haha. Thanks again, Jakey.

In other news, my dog has had the flu for over a week now. At first I thought she was about to die, because my friend told me that when his dog died, she kept throwing up the night before. Got me so worried...but she's okay now. I thought she might've gotten the swine flu, but I don't think it's that extreme anymore. She's been throwing up bile numerous times a day and having diarrhea. But since we've been feeding her only chicken and rice, she's doing better.

This weekend, I'll be getting to see my usual suspects at John and Edgar's party. Yay!

Yesterday, I went to the Yankees parade. It wasn't really worth it actually. But I did get to see my boy, Joba. Goddamn, he looks so freaking yummy in glasses and a suit. I couldn't get any pictures of him on my camera because these two ignorant bitches got on mens' shoulders and blocked everyone's views behind them. Nicole did get some shots of him, thankfully...and Karina (who wasn't with us) got really good shots of him, too!

There were some people in Yankee jackets that looked like random people on tour buses waving at the crowd. So the crowd would chant "WHO ARE YOU?" and they'd just usually smile or laugh...but this one guy took out his ID and showed it to us. LOL, I got secondhand embarrassment. And this one kid just said: "They're just filthy rich people." Which is true, haha.

There was a kid in a white jacket next to me and Nicole that kept tricking us by saying that this guy was 50 Cent ... or that guy was CC Sabathia. We fell for it all the time...until we finally got to see the real CC. OMG, so humiliating...since I kept shouting CC's name to the lookalike. No wonder he never turned around.

Before the parade started, these really energetic kids were throwing up random people that wanted to be thrown, cheerleading style...in the air. It was so entertaining... and some other crowds copied them across the street.

Just a week ago, I was rooting for the Angels so the Yankees wouldn't have to go to the Series. I'm an asshole, I know. But, now...after I found out how hot Joba Chamberlain is...I'm like a sports fanatic all of a sudden and rooting for the Yanks! This is like hilarious and ridiculous at the same time to my friends and I, cause I'm just really not a sports person.

Halloween night, I decided to ditch all plans...not that I had many to start with, to dog walk/sit Jorda and watch the game. I'm so glad I did because it was such an exciting game and my bb, Joba pitched. Nicole, [info]yummiest_nickel and Jacob, [info]evolutionofjake were both at a wedding (different ones)...so I was BBMing and texting them the score and stuff.

Actually, I don't hope they win tonight...because the city will go nuts and I won't be there to celebrate with everyone. I do hope they win the Series though, so they can go to the parade. I won't be attending the parade though, if they do win...cause just getting to see Joba is not enough for me. I have to meet the guy. So I'll be watching out for Joba appearances or signings in the near future.
